Ashley Spires’s Fairy Science has been shortlisted for the BC Chocolate Lily Young Readers’ Choice Awards for 2020-2021 in the picture books for ages kindergarten to 4th grade category. The award celebrates children’s authors and illustrators living in British Columbia and while congratulating these talented authors and illustrators, it also tries to encourage literacy for grade school children in British Columbia. This non-profit reader’s choice award will be read and voted upon by these children and the results of the winners will be announced next year around this time. Learn more about the award here
