Julie Comstock is known for the original surface art design and innovative ideas that are hallmarks of her work. In June 2006, with her husband, Julie founded a craft and hobby company called Cosmo Cricket. She grew Cosmo Cricket from her living room to a worldwide brand that she sold in 2011. She continues to conceptualize and design all products for the brand and has begun leveraging her work through other industries including fabric and stationery. Her personal interests include advocacy for struggling readers and she co-founded the Utah branch of the International Dyslexia Associate in 2005. She is now focusing her volunteer work on hospice care with a group in her area. Julie also loves reading random articles about random things, good wine, dark chocolate, dogs, people, board games and beating her kids at Mario Kart, which happens only on rare occasions.
