The Day My Brother Martin Changed the World by Christine King Farris and illustrated by London Ladd was included on School Library Journal’s list of “Great Books for Celebrating Martin Luther King Day!” March On! recounts the events of the March on Washington from the perspective of Martin Luther King Jr.’s sister, and includes Ladd’s “painterly illustrations” that “convey the participants’ soaring emotions.”
