Ashley Spires enjoys creating characters and stories that viewers can both identify and laugh with. Her children’s books are sold around the world and now even grace the small and large screen as a television series and a short animated film. Ashley specializes in animals, both in her art and in her real life. Her endless parade of foster kittens inspire her many animal characters who turn up in her stories, comics and patterns. When not drawing or wrangling felines, Ashley enjoys jogging outdoors, practicing yoga and needle felting.
