Two new books hit the shelves September 10th! Ashley Spires’ Fairy Science, introduces readers to Esther, a fairy who doesn’t believe in magic. She believes in SCIENCE. Kirkus praised the book as “A magical addition to the STEM shelf.” Joanie Stone has also released her new book Me and the Sky! This biography on Beverly Bass, the first female co-pilot of American Airlines and the inspiration for the character in the Broadway musical Come From Away, is a story of determination and passion. Kirkus says Stone’s “retro, cartoonish illustrations…evoke spirited enthusiasm”.
