Lucie Crovatto has been drawing ever since she can remember. After studying graphic design at Laval University, she quickly began her career as an illustrator. She has worked in many different areas of the profession, from starting her own greeting card company, to working on major advertising campaigns throughout Canada, to editorial illustration for publications such as Elle, Reader’s Digest, and Parent’s Today. She is now focused on illustrating children’s books, and is trying her hand at writing them too. Lucie lives with her husband and son on a dead-end street, where she is always surrounded by children. They inspire her to create illustrations that are filled with the energy and joy that children bring to life.
