This upcoming weekend (September 16-18) is the 100th birthday of beloved children’s author Roald Dahl. Bookstores and libraries across the country are holding special events to celebrate this wondercrump weekend. One of our own author/illustrators is doing his part to make this weekend special. K.G. Campbell, author of picture books such as Dylan the Villain and Who Wants a Tortoise? will be participating in an event at Knuckle and Claw in Santa Monica, California. He and two other authors will discuss the influence Roald Dahl had on their works, read pages from Dahl’s The Twits, and sign copies of their books. The event will run from 3 to 4 pm. Make sure to drop by if you’re in the area!
