Binny grew up in a family of artists on a farm near Sydney, Australia providing her with a rich backdrop of happy animals and scenery that has always influenced her work and contributed to her unique perspective.

She graduated from the University of Technology Sydney in Visual communications (Bachelor of Design, majoring in Illustration) with honours in 1997. Binny was lured into the design world and spent her initial career as a designer and Art Director before giving in to her childhood passion and setting up as a full time illustrator.

Binny lives in Sydney with her husband, two kids and a chocolate brown dog while she happily makes a living from drawing creatures and humans of all shapes and sizes. Her client list ranges from advertising, retail, publishing to entertainment. Binny has worked extensively in the United states, Japan, UK and Australia.
